Wow, I can't believe I'm off work for the next week and a half.
Life has been unbelievably stressful lately so I'm really looking forward to remembering who I am again. To put it simply, over this break I hope to regain some clarity and inner strength. I'm just worn out.
Yes, Eat Pray Love kind of stuff...if only I could be in Italy with a big bowl of pasta right now.
One thing I plan on doing is sneaking out to yoga tonight. I used to go to yoga at least once a week when I was pregnant. Let's just say a baby changes everything. I've only been one time in the last 7 months! Unbelievable. My goal is to go to class at least twice while I'm on break.
I can't wait to bend and twist myself to the point of absolute bliss. Yoga has always helped me when I'm feeling out of sorts. If you ever want to feel good again on the inside, try yoga.
I go to an amazing studio in the city that makes me feel like I'm not in Kansas City anymore. It's like I can escape my world for a little while. Hello mini-vacation!
So moms, remember to do something for yourself during this stressful holiday season. Another idea is a simple warm bath with a book. Doesn't that sound lovely?
I think I'm going to love this holiday break.
